Each year, approximately one million pregnancies in the United States end in miscarriage, stillbirth or the death of a newborn child.  But this is not just a statistic.  This is a life and a death issue.

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, including October 15th which is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. It is a month and day of remembrance for pregnancy loss and infant death which includes, but is not limited to, miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS or the death of a newborn.
