Participants will be engaged in a presentation over the developmental stages of grief and loss throughout the child and adolescent span while learning about the severity of different losses and the impacts. Participants will be invited to explore different interventions to be utilized with grieving youth.

Learning Objectives:

Understand how children understand death and respond to grief from a developmental perspective.
Explore how different types of losses impact the severity of grief.
Learn at least 5 creative interventions to use with grieving children and adolescents.
